Weaving is somewhat of an abstract concept to many people because they rarely see it being done. That is why I consider demonstrating weaving an important part of my work. People are quite curious about the process, and I enjoy showing them how the loom operates and how different patterns can be woven. I have worked with classes of all ages as well as with the general public and welcome the opportunity to do so.

For those who want to try weaving, I teach private and small group lessons. I have taught beginning and advanced weaving, warping techniques [back to front, front to back and sectional beaming], studies on specific techniques [huck lace, overshot, twills and such] and dyeing techniques.

Please contact me for more information on classes and demonstrations.
