I love making clothes! I love the texture, the drape, the movement of the cloth, and the colors. I love the soft feel of handwoven cloth. And I love wearing something that will never be found in a department store.

When designing cloth, I emphasize color and texture with pattern as a background element. I use a variety of yarns and often dye them by hand. It is my goal to make a cloth that is strong yet soft and distinctly different from commercially produced yardage. Handwoven cloth is quite durable and will last through many a season.

I choose patterns with simple, classic lines for my clothing. While the garments are unique, I also want them to be timeless in style. I emphasize designs that flow and move with the body. I want my customers to feel special when they wear my clothes and to know their outfit will last a very long time.
